This quick and easy granola is packed with nutrients and can be stored for up to a month!
Ingredients
- 4 cups rolled cut oats
- 2 cups slivered almonds
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or agave nectar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, dried cherries, or dried blueberries
Directions
Preheat your oven to 300 and grease two cookie sheets. Mix together oats, almonds, and spices. Mix warm water, maple syrup, and vanilla in a separate bowl, then pour over the oats and almonds and stir. Spread it all out onto the cookie sheets and bake for 30 minutes (until golden). Stir every 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and mix in the fruit. You can refrigerate the granola in an airtight container for up to a month.
