First up, we have Shock Ice Cream, home of the infamous carnival cone that we had to try, and a cute store worth visiting! Coming in at a 7 out of 10, this fun carnival ice cream cone mentioned had delicious cotton candy swirled around it was the perfect treat after running errands or doc appointments for little ones!
Swooping in and melting the competition with a 9 out of 10, we have John’s Drive-In! If you are looking for ice cream that gives you the feeling of being transported to Italy and enjoying gelato, this is the place. There is always a line, but it moves quickly. The peanut butter blast is crazy good with tiny Reese’s peanut butter cups that explode in your mouth – yum!
If you are looking for a classic ice cream shop, Big Olaf is just the place! Located in Sag Harbor we give this a 7.5 out of 10. Get ready to enjoy great ice cream flavors, they even have low-fat and non-dairy options!
Buddhaberry might not be ice cream, but with a 9 out of 10 rating you will want to try it! Nicole, the founder of Buddahberry, wanted to enjoy a treat with her kids daily making sure the toppings were actually good for you. This explains why they have the best non-dairy options in the Hamptons and the best toppings we have ever tasted anywhere.
Next up, we have Yummylicious! with their selection of 24 ice creams, 8 frozen yogurts, 6 bubble teas and countless toppings. Coming in at a 6.5, we loved the variety of toppings and toys that could be found at the location.
Bryn and Bethenny give a 7 out of 10 for Sundae Donuts, an Instagram photo waiting to happen! They have so many options when it comes to picking toppings. The staff was amazing and just as sweet as the ice cream!
Last, but certainly not least, Candy Kitchen with an 8 out of 10! If you are looking for an old fashion diner feel with great homemade ice cream this is just the place.
