Rosé gives this delicate sangria a beautiful shade of pink that perfectly complements any ladylike occasion. Serves 6 to 8.
- One 750 ml bottle of Skinnygirl California Rosé Blend or other rosé
- 3 ounces vodka (optional)
- 3 ounces lemon Sour Mix
- 3 ounces strawberry or strawberry juice blend
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 3 or 4 fresh (or thawed frozen) strawberries, sliced
- Diet lemon-lime or club soda for serving (optional)
Combine the wine, vodka (if using), sour mix, and juice in a pitcher and stir. Refrigerate for at least an hour to chill well.
Before serving, add ice cubes (the larger, the better) to the pitcher and drop in the lemon and sliced strawberries. Serve over ice in white wine glasses. If you like your sangria on the lighter side, top it off with a splash of soda.
Variations:
Change up the fruit by using the other types of berries and citrus. Melons and peaches also go nicely with rosé. Just be careful not to let the fruit sit in the sangria for too long, or it will get mushy.
