Ingredients
- 4 slices thin-sliced whole grain bread
- 2 tablespoons creamy almond butter
- 2 tablespoons Skinnygirl™ sugar free Cocktail Inspired Preserves – Grape Merlot
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
Directions
Spread almond butter evenly on 2 slices of bread. Spread Skinnygirl Preserves over almond butter and top with remaining bread slices to make 2 sandwiches.
Beat egg and milk in a shallow bowl until well blended. Dip sandwiches, one at a time, into egg mixture, allowing the egg to soak into the sandwich.
Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add sandwiches and cook 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown on both sides, turning once. Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar and drizzle with melted Skinnygirl Preserves if desired.
